“If you’ve seen the movie The Notebook,” Tyrese told attendees at his exclusive premiere, “You’re seeing that I grabbed elements of The Notebook and turned it into The Black Book.” Together, they use three songs (“Can’t Break Me” featuring Bozeman, “Waiting on You,” and the Tank-assisted “Prior to You”) in order to tell a love story that might sound a bit familiar, though it also has a twist.
